Methuen Tree Lighting, Sunday, November 30 @ 5pm

 Methuen Tree Lighting, Nevins Library, 305 Broadway, Event begins at 5pm with ceremonial lighting of the tree at 6:15pm. Hot chocolate and cookies provided by Century 21 McLennan and Company, a performance by the CGS Chorus, and of course, a visit from Santa Claus! Info: 978-983-8505

In order to preserve the Veterans Squares in the vicinity of the Methuen Rotary Project, the stones will be temporarily moved and displayed in the Elmwood Cemetery Veterans Lot on North Lowell Street. They will be relocated to a permanent home upon project completion.

City Hall Daily Hours: The Searles Building - Methuen City Hall, 41 Pleasant Street, is open Monday through Thursday, 8am-4:30pm and Friday, 8am-Noon.


Veterans Employment: There is a Veterans Employment Preference list in the Methuen Human Resources Office regarding City of Methuen jobs. Interested veterans may sign their name to the list and receive preference for jobs available. The list has been established per the City Council Resolution on Veterans Employment Preference
